Primary children's is always a tough hospital to visit, but for some reason being here time and time again, getting some of the best treatment needed for my child. I still walk the halls here on the verge of tears every time. But standard Protocol as it has become here, my boy requests cheeseburgers. Its humbling that the nurses have come to expect this, and tear jerking as well. They get to know your child so well. Its saddening for the sheer fact this is our second home, but strangely comforting that they take the time to get to know your child. And create a certain comfort with them. Not wanting to be in this place, ironically feeling blessed that we are.
